Confusion Cleared Up

So at the wedding on Friday, I had another bridesmaid's boyfriend (who was sitting at the table with Ryan) ask how we knew each other. That way it would just seem like casual small talk, but it would tell me what's going on. She just told me that he said it was just friendship. So, mystery solved.

But I still want to jump him. Would that be okay? :)

But, he could be just saying that because anything other than that has yet to be established!

No, according to Pete (the expert), as soon as he said "it's just a friendship," there's no hope. Pete thinks he is probably hoping for a friends with benefits situation. So maybe I will still proceed with the jumping him plan, but then avoid him since the feelings are not mutual.

Have you seen or read the book He's just not that into you? What lessons:)

This is reality, not "He's Just Not that Into You"! He probably didn't know what to say because he was put on the spot and nothing has happened to make him say otherwise! Guys sometimes need to be lead, they don't always know. There's got to be at least some interest there, because at some point guys stop looking for girls as 'friends'. I'd say you're "just friend" for now. Also, I wouldn't drag out a friends with benefits situation until you absolutely know that's all that it is.

In short, Pete is full of shit and you should still go for it :)

Just my two cents. [Ok, more like ten...]
