I went through all my guidebooks and found something that sounded promising in the Kelsey book- Canyon Pintado, a corridor near Rangely that is full of ancient rock art. I spent the night in Vernal and was so excited to explore the next morning. It was in the single digits, but that wasn't stopping me! Looking back on the day, I really didn't see that much. But it just felt good to be out doing something. The first stop was the longest hike that took me to the Sun Dagger Panel.
