This blog post is just for me to remember stuff. On Wednesday I drove up to Oregon, passing Mt. Shasta on the way. Still so much snow!
My destination was the North Umpqua River near Roaeburg. This is one of my very favorite places and I could spend days and days here. I only had time to see three waterfalls on this day. The first was not so much a waterfall, but a great kick it spot and swimming spot.

I don't know if I'd actually call this a waterfall, but it was pretty and peaceful and the rocks were perfect for lounging and reading.
I went to see Steamboat Falls next, which were also not that big, but still pretty. The thing on the left is for fish. (I forget what it's called.)
My favorite spot of the day was Fall Creek.
It's only a mile hike, and it's a very scenic and easy hike. I don't know how to describe this canyon... everything is dripping with moss, and you feel like you're in a different world. It's paradise.
Perfect swimming hole, it was just too cold! But I'll be back. I love this area, and there is still so much to explore.
