There are three Delaware River stamps. THREE. This seems excessive to me. I was all cheerful when collecting the first stamp at Delaware Water Gap NRA. I grabbed a map and saw something called Raymondskill Falls (btw, kill is Dutch for creek or river, which is why Eleanor’s home is called Val-Kill and all the towns in that area end with kill) and thought, “Cool, I’ll go see some waterfalls.”
(On the hike back, someone told me there was a third tier that I missed! I had no idea they’d be so big!)
Finally, I visited Steamtown National Historic Site. I felt guilty the whole time because trains are not my thing, but I couldn’t believe how many trains they had here! So, even though I didn’t read all the displays, I had fun wandering around and exploring the trains.
There were two parts of this day that I really really enjoyed:
I was so impressed! I was not expecting something so spectacular!

My next stop was Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River. Doesn’t this seem redundant? But I went in search of that stamp because I couldn’t stand to skip one.
It took me four tries to find a visitor center that was open and had a stamp.

There were two parts of this day that I really really enjoyed:
1. There was a turtle in the road and I got to save it.
2. I was watching the Cubs game last night, and they were losing so bad that Joe decided to have Anthony Rizzo pitch! The crowd went nuts, and he was adorable, AS ALWAYS. He couldn’t stop laughing afterwards, but he got the batter out in two pitches!
